Video footage of the demonstration flights of the Beta Alia electric aircraft. The aircraft arrived from Twente Airport marking the start of a day dedicated to demonstrating the potential of electric regional air mobility in the Netherlands.
The video shows the aircraft, proudly carrying the e-Smart Avia livery, as Beta Technologies pilots Ella Brisson and Nate Dubie prepare for the day’s operations. The crew conducts pre-flight inspections and demonstrates one of the key advantages of electric aviation: rapid and efficient aircraft charging. The Beta Alia is connected to ground charging infrastructure while final flight preparations are completed.
The demonstration programme included a series of flights from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol to Den Helder Airport, Lelystad Airport and Rotterdam The Hague Airport, highlighting the operational capabilities of all-electric aviation and the opportunities it offers for connecting regional airports with significantly reduced emissions and noise.
The film showcases the Beta Alia’s remarkably quiet take-off as it begins its demonstration flights, providing a glimpse into the future of sustainable regional air transport.
